Okay....for being such an important character in the first book, they really don't give too much of a description of Daag's colours....they just leave it as pale yellow with grey dapples. So, here he is...this time I drew him with the typical lion's tail....don't know if I like it this way or the other way....anyhoo, hope you enjoy....I haven't come across too many people who have attempted him.

yay! you drew Daggy! He's actually one of my favorites to draw. I love the pose you gave him, its sprinty and energetic! and he's all full of spots. you're right about the descrip though. i had problems with a lot of the unicorns because they'd give one sentence like "color of night" or "like dawn fire." that was annoying when you want it to be accurate but i guess that's where imagination comes in. oh well, sorry for rambling, wonderful picture!!!

I love your depictions of the characters from the Firebringer Trilogy. They are awesome. This is a lovely drawing of Daag and almost exactly how I pictured him in my mind except for he had a straight spiralled horn like the unicorns on "The Last Unicorn." This version makes the horn seem so much cooler though. :)
